Due to factors such as equipment and personnel operation level, there may be certain errors in the actual waveform of the manufactured stainless steel corrugated and design parameters . For example, under certain conditions, the phenomenon of “thin” wave crest may appear, that is, the radius of curvature at the trough is too large, and the radius of curvature at the crest is too small. According to the mechanics theory and engineering experience, the deviation of the corrugated curvature radius should have a certain influence on the performance.
Analyze the reasons for the curvature radius error of the stainless steel corrugated hose in the manufacturing process. According to the regulations on the curvature radius error of the bellows in the domestic and foreign standards, a set of bellows parameters that meet the standard requirements and limit deviations are determined as a comparison. The bellows of the ideal waveform and the limit deviation waveform are calculated separately, and the calculation results of the design formula in the standard are compared and analyzed, and the following conclusions are mainly concluded.
1) Under the limit error of the corrugated curvature radius permitted by the standard, the difference in the geometric shape of the corrugated pipe is more significant, and the waveform difference can be judged intuitively;
2) Since the calculation formula and evaluation criteria of the corrugated stress are based on the linear elastic theory, the finite element analysis performed also adopts the linear elastic model, and the analysis results are relatively close to the calculation results of the theoretical formula, so the finite element analysis results are relatively reliable.
3) According to the calculation data and analysis results of the DN250 bellows, for the pressure-bearing performance, the waveform error will cause slight changes in the stress distribution of the peaks and troughs. But generally there is not a great impact on the strength. The change in the stiffness performance of the stainless steel corrugated tube due to the error of the radius of curvature is negligible.
4) According to the analysis data of DN1200 bellows, a conclusion similar to that of DN250 bellows is drawn, which is extended to a wider range of design parameters, which proves the correctness of the analysis results.
